Pasta Bolognese Recipe

I tend to be very active on Instagram {@almson} and it happens that I snap some pictures of my food that I post. Most of you like it, and I’ve been requested to share some recipes with you. And, why not? I’m a huge pasta lover, even though there’s a lot of carbs in it I can’t completely cut it out of my diet. So instead I eat small amounts of pasta and the pasta has to be whole grain. I’m not going to say how much pasta I’m cooking, because it is completely up to you how much you are willing to eat :}

Bolognese Sause:
Cooking time: 25-30 min.
– 500g of ground meat {beef}
– half an onion {yellow}
– 1 medium sized carrot {grated}
– 2 tablespoons of frying oil
– salt & pepper
– 1 clove of garlic
– 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
– 2 dl of passed tomato purée {or ketchup}
– 0.5 dl of cookable sour cream {low-fat}
– water if the consistency is too thick
– 1 tablespoon of pepper flavor
– dried oregano

Cook It: 
Start with chopping the onion in the tiniest pieces. Fry the onion in a sauté pan together with frying oil, the meat, and the grated carrot. When the meat gets color add salt and pepper. Grate the garlic and add it to the meat. Add the tomato paste, passed tomato purée, and the sour cream. Mix it really well, and if the consistency is too thick add some water. Just before the bolognese is done add some pepper flavor and the dried oregano. Cook it for another 5 min on low temperature, and then it’s done!

Serve It:
Serve your Bolognese sauce with freshly cooked pasta/spaghetti/tagliatelle and some cocktail tomatoes and a green salad :} Your drinking choice is optional but I prefer a glass of cold water.
